Many of you will remember Frank ‘Flute Man’ Griffiths who was a regular at NDCXL races over the last 20 years and sadly died in June 2016. He was known by generations of riders for his flute playing and accurate lap counting.
Recently the League was very honoured to learn that Frank had left a financial legacy of £2000 to NDCXL. We would like ideas on how this sum could best be used to commemorate Frank’s memory and his love of cross racing in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. Please send us your ideas for using this unexpected gift to best effect!
Email financendcxl@gmail.com before Friday 16th February with a brief outline of your idea. All suggestions will then be reviewed and the most popular ones will be taken to the AGM for discussion and approval.
We look forward to hearing from you.
