Beeston CC’s Richard Shenton has today met with a representative of Broxtowe Borough Council, and sadly they said:
After an assessment of the conditions at Bramcote Hills Park and considering the forecast he has decided that he cannot allow the cyclo-cross event to go ahead this Saturday.
Pre-entered riders are being contacted and arrangements made to refund the riders entry fee – which may be minus the 70p British Cycling admin charge in the first instance. The League will refund the 70p soon either via the BC system or a bag of coins at a race.
