Last night’s SRAM NDCXL meeting discussed, at length, start arrangements for U9 and U12 events.
The meeting voted unanimously that the following system will be trialled for the remainder of the 201112 season.
- At a maximum of 10 minutes before their event U912 riders may congregate in a marked, off course area in readiness for call up.
- An appointed official will call up the riders (whistle or other clear method), then will proceed to line up the riders by year of birth (not age).
- An appropriate small gap can be left between each category if deemed appropriate by the appointed official.

This system will be reviewed at season end.
