NDCXL – Cyclo-cross Age Categories 2012/13 Season

For the 2012-2013 season the following age categories will apply in NDCXL cyclo-cross events (effective from 1st September 2012):

Under 9* born in 2004 or later
Under 12 born in 2001 or later
Youth born 1997 to 2000
Youth – Under 14 born 1999 or 2000
Junior born 1995 or 1996
Senior born 1994 or earlier
Under 23 born 1991 to 1994
Women born 1996 or earlier**
Veteran born 1972 or earlier
Veteran 40 – 49 born 1963 to 1972
Veteran 50+ born 1962 or earlier
Vet 40 born 1968 to 1972
Vet 45 born 1963 to 1967
Vet 50 born 1958 to 1962
Vet 55 born 1953 to 1957
Vet 60 born 1948 to 1952
Vet 65 born 1943 to 1947
Vet 70+ born 1942 or earlier

Not all categories are recognised at all events.

* NDCXL events recognise an U9 category – NOT U10
** Races for Women are open to Junior, Under 23, Senior and Veteran Women.
