Registration for 2020-21

Following on from the NDCXL committee meeting on Tuesday 1st September the update below is given:

The provisional 2020-21 calendar is now available and includes 6 events supported by the NDCXL for the 2020-21 season with the option of additional events to be added should event organisers be able – please contact the NDCXL chair if you would like to organise – we have venues available.

There will be no league tables to accommodate riders who must self-isolate, or, for example, regional lock downs.
All riders, volunteers and helpers will be expected to adhere to the Covid-19 behaviours we have now come to expect in our daily lives. Please make sure you take all masks, gloves and rubbish home with you.

A riders’ event manual will be issued for each round with clear guidance – especially related to our Covid-19 risk assessments – please ensure you read the document before attending the event.

Please bring only essential equipment with you. No Jet washers or washing of bikes on-site is possible under our Covid-19 risk assessment.

You will be asked for your car registration and who will be in the car with you at entry on the BC system. This is to enable us to monitor who is on-site and for Track and Trace to have all the details they require should we be notified of a Covid case following an event.

Should you enter an event and then exhibit Covid symptoms please notify the event organiser and do not attend the event (event organiser details can be found on the BC entry system).

Rider registration will open on Monday September 7th. To benefit from priority entry to NDCXL events you will need to register as an affiliated rider.

Non-affiliated riders can still compete in NDCXL events but you will only be able enter two weeks before the event. To affiliate to the league, you need to follow the guidelines.

You will be asked to register at the event like normal but not required to sign any documentation. Also note the following points:

  • Your race number will be your gridding position.
  • All riders will race for the full duration of their event.
  • Entries will close on the Sunday before the event.

As per the BC framework there will be no PITS – riders are expected to race on the same bike from start to finish. Should the framework we are operating under from BC change the League reserves the right to review and adjust how we are operating this year.
