As some of you will know, Andrew Naylor will be relinquishing the role of League Chairman at the AGM, and so the League is now seeking a candidate to step up and fill the role. The Chair role is a high profile one, and is crucial to the ongoing success of the League. As with the other advertised roles, the time committment required to fulfill this position effectively should not be underestimated.
Role Overview:
- Work with Secretary to ensure meetings are arranged
- Oversee Committee meetings
- Liaise with SRAM as part of current sponsorship agreement
- Ensure terms of sponsorship agreements are met
- Liaise with Event Coordinator and assist organisers with event presentation
- Work with Event Coordinator to plan organisers meeting
- Date fixing – plan reasonable calendar with Event Coordinator.
- Liaise with Treasurer to organize first aid and chip timing.

Overall, the role is one of coordination, working with the committee to ensure the smooth running of the league, and also one of organisation, ensuring that the league is well organised and continues to prosper.
